TU#175 – an up-tick

TRADING UPDATE

The “big swinging dicks” at Goldman Sachs seemed to do OK today, but of course everyone knew that and there was enough sell-on-news action to keep yesterday’s bullishness thoroughly muted.

Natural gas finally made a solid, belated move to the up-side today – 11.2% on the double-long ETF.  There was enough of a gap at the open that I decided to trade out a lot to raise a little cash.  The gold shares ETF also moved higher, while oil and grains each paused for a small decline.  Of the latter two, I think grains will go for a little run here with gas - based on the way wheat rallied so sharply yesterday.

Got too much on the go right now with my wife out of town and kids rioting downstairs, so for tonight it’s “just the facts ma’am, just the facts”.
